NRN's main chat program!

This checklist will help you install the ICQ Chat Program. NRN uses this to communicate to each other.

1. Download either ICQ Pro, or ICQ Light program here.

2. Shut down other applications that may be running on your computer.

3. Ensure that you are connected to the Internet.

4. If it does not auto-install, double-click on the icq2003a.exe file saved on your computer to begin the installation process.

5. After the installation is completed, follow the Registration Wizard instructions on your screen. Click here for more help on registration.

6. Wait for the registration process to finish. The ICQ program will open on your desktop in Simple Mode displaying a green online status icon.

7. Now, add NRN people to your Contact List. To find ICQ numbers of NRN members, look at the Roster.

***NOTE***Windows NT users:
Make sure you have administrative rights before you begin the installation.

***NOTE***Windows XP users:
Make sure you have Power Users rights before you begin the installation.
